A roller disco can be great fun and something a little bit different to the norm.
At Oli’s Roller Disco we are very happy to welcome all types of parties whether you’re celebrating a birthday, a hen party or just a ‘dress up in Neon and have fun’ type of party. Minimum booking is for 10 skaters up to a maximum of 25, we welcome larger parties – please contact us for further details.
We will reserve all hire skates for you so there’s no chance of turning up on the day and being disappointed that your size has already been taken. We will provide a set of safety equipment for each of your guests which will include knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards.
We will find out from you before your party what type of music you (or the birthday girl/boy, hen etc.) likes and we will then try to play as many of those songs/bands as possible.
Generally parties are held within our 3-4.30pm public session as this is more suited to new skaters. You will have a skate guard for a ‘get ready to roll’ 25 minute lesson before the disco to show your guests the basics of how to start and more importantly how to stop! If your group are all able to skate and do not require assistance on the rink we can accommodate a party in the 5-6.30pm public session and arrange for a more advanced type of lesson beforehand.
If you are having a birthday party with us we will call the birthday person and their guests into the middle of the rink and play the ‘Happy Birthday’ song for them.
For children’s parties we will also give a small gift and card when they are in the middle of the rink.
If you would like to book a party please contact Ferndown Leisure Centre direct on 01202877468, they will send you some Oli’s Roller Disco party invitations for you to send out to your guests. There are food rooms available to hire at the leisure centre at an additional cost so that you can provide food before or after the disco.
